Attention, attention, be prepared for a lot of photos 🙂 You probably are wondering why I was in Munich for two days without telling you anything. Here is my little story. On tuesday I got the news that I’m going to Munich on thursday and friday. So after around 24 hours full of outfit hunt and luggage packing panic I was ready for Munich, the usual women pre traveling madness. On occasion of the new Clarks and Gore-Tex cooperation, I had the chance to attend an amazing Blogger event together with five other bloggers from Germany. We were able to take a look behind the scenes and try the new collection. The thing I like the most about blogger events? Faces you only knew through Instagram get a personality and you get to know the people behind the e-mail addresses. Also we had the chance to see how the shoe is produced and learn more about the product. But before I bore you with a super long text, I’m going to show you my little iPhone diary of these two days. A big blogpost with professionell photos is following very soon, because we were so lucky that a photographer documented our little adventure.
A big thank you to the amazing teams of Clarks, Gore-Tex und Styleranking for these beautiful organized days, I had such an amazing time.
BYE BYE COLOGNE, OFF TO MUNICH
Cafe Glockenspiel such a lovely restaurant/cafe with the best view ever, because it’s right in front of the stunningly beautiful townhall, oh and best Ceasar salad I’ve tried so far. Definitely check it out when you’re in Munich (Cafe Glockenspiel, Marienplatz 28, 80331 München).
Ok maybe I say something about it. Clarks surprised us with a pair of their latest collection in cooperation with Gore-Tex. I got the black ankle boots and they are just perfect for the more wetter weather (oh hello tongue twister), because thanks to the amazing skills of Gore the shoes are waterproof, not that I’m going to dance in the rain or jump in a puddle, ok to be honest I’m going to, let’s get a little wet baby.
The funny thing, we got our surprise in the middle of the Marienplatz which definitely caused a stir, but I think it’s hilarious that people are always so interested in what you’re doing. In the beginning of the complete blogger thing I was always so ashemd when people are watching us (‚Why is this girl standing right in the middle of street in her ridiculously high shoes?!‘), but you get used it. Like my boyfriend and I are always saying #noshame, just do your thing and rock it.
Get the Clarks Mint Jam GTX ankle boots here.
Segways, something I was absolutely terrified of, because I always had the picture of me laying on the ground in my head and on the other hand, it just looks hilarious. But you know what, now I WANT ONE. After 5 minutes you can ride this thing like pro and it makes more fun than anything else, really, trust me, best thing ever.
I was in Munich already a couple of time before, but I never did a proper sightseeing tour and it was so nice to get to know this beautiful city a little bit better. So many pretty places to discover.
I couldn’t be happier about finally meeting these two, I’m definitely one of the biggest fans of Hottie Leonie from Ohh Couture, so lovely and bubbly (and freaking beautiful!!) as I expected her to be. And oh god if I would be a male blogger, I would probably be like Martin from look-scout, I needed to laugh so hard the whole time, can’t wait to meet these two again. More photos following soon.
When your phone is to dumb to focus right aka modern art of the Fünf Höfe shopping center (Fünf Höfe, Theatinerstraße 15, 80333 München).
I love food and I love it even more when it’s served on such pretty tables. I don’t know but I’m really into interior design and decoration, so the restaurant Upper Eat Side (how cool is this name?!) was definitely a winner (Upper Eat Side, Werinherstraße 15, 81541 München).
What should I say, it’s absolutely amazing waking up to this view. Definitely worth the 6AM wake up call. Since I’m actually a girl from a small town, I’m always so fascinated by such nature sceneries.
Oh and the ‚you won’t need any filter‘-sunrise light is just perfect for selfies 😉
Could be worse right? (Berghotel Aschbach, Aschbach, 83620 Feldkirchen)
Another thing that made this trip so perfect was the weather, how I love a good indian summer aka being able to wear shorts without annoying tights. Outfit details are coming soon.
On the second day in Munich we had the chance to visit Gore-Tex to take a look behind the scenes and the production and materials of our shoes. All the shoes in cooperation with Gore-Tex are waterproof and breathable, which is perfect for outdoor activities and even really handy in fashionable shoes.
How to make tired bloggers happy, I don’t know why I’m always taking photos of caffeinated beverages, but like I already said, they’re making me very very happy.
Time to head home. Thank you Clarks and Gore-Tex for two absolutely amazing days, I had so much fun and I never been to such a well organized blogger event.
